Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no premium tier, no in-app purchases, no donations. The app is fully functional with every feature available on first launch.
So how do you make money?
We don’t. Voidborn Industries makes its money elsewhere. This app exists because the converter category on the stores is a sea of ad-laden bloatware and we were annoyed.
What data do you collect?
Zero. The app cannot connect to the internet at all on Android — the manifest doesn’t request the permission, and a CI gate fails any release that would re-add it. No analytics, no crash reporters, no logs leave your device.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Always. You can put your phone in airplane mode and every single feature still works. The app banner literally tells you so when you go offline.
How do I install the APK?
Download the .apk file, tap to install. Android may ask for permission to install from this source the first time — allow it. The APK is signed with our release key; subsequent updates verify against the same signature.
Is it on the Play Store / App Store yet?
In review. As soon as each store approves, the buttons up top will resolve to the live listing. Until then, direct APK is the fastest path on Android. iPhone users will have to wait for App Store approval — sideloading on iOS isn’t practical for most users.
Is the source open?
The app is closed-source, free-to-use. The open-source libraries we link against are credited in-app under Settings → Open-source licenses, as their licenses require. Voidborn Industries reserves the right to keep app source private.
What about iPhone?
Same app, same features, same brand promise. iOS distribution goes through TestFlight then the App Store on the standard Apple cadence.
